Workshops
Some leadership challenges are best addressed by creating space for a team to step out of the day-to-day, surface what is really happening, and work through the issue together.
Joel designs and facilitates workshops, retreats, and leadership sessions around the needs of the team and organization. The goal is not simply a good session. It is clearer thinking, stronger alignment, better decisions, and practical movement afterward.

Working sessions designed around the real issue.

Possible workshop areas include:
Strategy & Alignment
For leadership teams or boards that need to clarify direction, priorities, strategic choices, and ownership for execution.
Mission, Vision & Values
For organizations that need to articulate, revisit, or reconnect with their purpose, direction, and values, and examine how those commitments actually show up in decisions and behavior.
Leadership Team Effectiveness
For teams working through trust, productive conflict, decision-making, accountability, alignment, or shared ownership.
Leading Through Change
For leaders and teams navigating growth, transition, restructuring, shifting priorities, or other periods when old ways of working may no longer fit what comes next.

Strengths-Based Leadership & Team Development
Using CliftonStrengths to help leaders and teams better understand how they contribute, where they may overuse strengths, how different people work together, and how to build greater awareness and effectiveness across the team.
Resilience & Hardiness
A practical session for leaders and teams operating under sustained pressure, focused on how people respond to challenge, maintain perspective, and continue to perform without simply absorbing more strain.
The workshop starts with the problem
I do not begin with a workshop title and try to fit the organization into it.
We start with what the team is trying to accomplish, where it is getting stuck, and what needs to be different afterward. From there, I tailor the session, tools, and level of facilitation to the situation.
Sometimes the right answer is a workshop. Sometimes the issue requires a retreat, follow-up coaching, advisory support, or a different intervention entirely.
